About the Angler's Club

The purpose of the Anglers Club is to promote and support the conservation and preservation of fish and all types of marine life in Packanack Lake. We promote, support, and sponsor an interest in fishing in a friendly and harmonious relationship with Beach goers. The Anglers Club stands for three things: Service, Fishing and Fun. Service: One annual project is to stock the Lake with various game fish such as Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike and Channel Catfish in conjunction with the Packanack Lake Community Association. Fishing: Annual events such as the small fry fishing contest is open to all Association Members under 14 years old. Poles and worms are furnished to the children who find the joy of hooking and landing their own fish. Prizes are awarded to the child who catches most fish and the largest fish. Other contests include Angler of the Year and Junior Angler. At least one salt water and one fresh water trip is planned each year for Anglers Club Members. Fun: Social events such as the Annual Family Picnic is held at the East Beach is always a great day and provides an opportunity for members and their families to talk about the one that got away.
